Services > Sworn translation
A sworn translation is a translation certified to be true to the original document, produced by a translator who has taken an oath before the court.
The signature and stamp of the sworn translator are affixed to the translation, as well as the date on which the translation was done.
The translation then becomes official and can be used in the same way as the original document.
If you need to use the translation abroad, authentication can be arranged with the Court of First Instance, the FPS Justice and the FPS Foreign Affairs.
